We have just received a press release from David Uhl and it looks like he has another painting out.  This one is of Louis Norley and his plane, “Red Dog.”  As many of you know, Uhl is an incredible painter and I have just ordered a few of his biker images.  Can’t wait to get them.  More about the new release below.

We are proud to introduce David Uhl’s newest release, “Red Dog”, a tribute to Louis Norley and his warbird the “Red Dog”.  The piece was created to be a window into the past and hang next to the actual plane which resides in a museum in Chandler, Arizona.

In David’s words, “Ever since I painted “Ruth”, I have a special place in my heart for P-51s.  This plane is no exception — it is in PERFECT condition and was a true pleasure to render out in all of its glory. So continuing with the glory theme I put in a magnificent bank of afternoon clouds, and Lt. Norley reveling in his elements.  “Red Dog Norley” was RCAF-trained, and he joined the 336th FS in 1943. He later became CO of the 334th FS and then the 336th FS.  Norley was credited with 11.33 aerial and five strafing victories, four of the latter coming on April 16th 1945.”

An exclusive canvas print edition is offered (image below):

“Regular” (image size 22″ x 32″), $1,450 framed plus shipping.  25 canvas giclees plus 5 Artist Proofs

“Jumbo” (image size and price TBD), 5 prints available.

We will be unveiling “Red Dog” at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale starting this weekend.  To reserve your print, simply respond to this email or call me at the number listed below.

Best regards,

Greg
