Yup, you read that right, looks like Tom Beers and the Discovery Channel, who brought us the Biker Build-Off Series, are going to run a 13-episode series on the Detroit Brothers.

The Detroit Bros. are Dave and James Kaye. Dave is steeped in engineering and industrial design and his brother James is a classically trained sculptor/fine artist from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit who has earlier worked with industry artist Ron Finch and, later, Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles. Together they have a post-apocalyptic style reminiscent of something off the set of Mad Max. Spikes, hard angles, aggressive styling, and what is usually a really uncomfortable looking seat are a few of the aesthetics that carry through many of the brother’s builds.
The first season 13-episode “Motor City” TV show starts in January 2010. I am excited to see how it all goes.
Love, Respect, and Biker TV Baby!
