“This type of agreement puts in place a maximum wage for all current full-time workers in four years; provides health care parity for all development employees; offers a pathway to full-time status and, finally, high-level remuneration for all temporary workers; pharmaceutical coverage subject to medical prescription for temporary workers; A $9,000 signing bonus for traditional members and a $3,500 signing bonus for temporary members; the incentive formula is improved by 12.5 percent and more than 7,900 jobs generated by investments of more than $9 billion — including $4.5 billion in newly announced projects,” said Cindy Estrada, UAW vice president and director of the UAW-FCA division.
